Hi All,
My name is Jay Durham, I am a charcol artist specializing in portraits. I graduated from Florida State University with a Bachor of Arts in Music. My passion for art and music started from a young age and by highschool I found the  styles of art and music that I was most passionate about. One of my most asked questions is have I tried using color or why dont I use color. I used to only use color especially color pencils. I gravitated towards realism way before I started using graphite and charcoal. I did my first graphite drawing in 2014 and my first charcoal drawing in 2017 and I havent looked back since. I love art and I love sharing my passion and talent with others.
